The adventure continues!
Today was a rather interesting food day, lots and lots of edible goodness consumed!
I had...
A challah roll for breakfast - way to start the day!
A green apple (of course)
Two bananas
A shrimp bisque soup for lunch with a piece of bread (perfect for an icky, rainy day like today)
A box of Pims orange cookies (also perfect for and icky, rainy day like today)
A hamentashen cookie
A kani salad (no raw fish, so I'm good)
And tofu and veggies for dinner
Over all, deliciousness. Three days until the next doctor's appointment this Friday. Getting more and more excited by the day. And now I'm exhausted so nighty night time for me...

Post four
Oh time flies doesn't it! So few hours, and so many things that want to be eaten!!!
Today I finally got what I wanted, what I craved and yearned for for days.... a red pickled tomato! Mmmmmmm, so good! Thanks Lena (mom-in law)! And with that craving satisfied, and a bottle of tomatoes waiting in the cup-board, here is what I ate today:
A bagel with cream cheese (my eyes kind of got away and I also got a challah roll, but that will be good for breakfast tomorrow!)
A lovely dinner at the in-laws including picked tomatoes, potatoes, chicken soup and cutlets. Home-made goodness!
Ice cream - what would you do for a Klondike bar?
Cake and melon
An orange
And now, the hungry, hungry me has a banana waiting... oh the excitement!

post three
Yesterday was a rather exciting day. Many good foods were consumed.

We started the day with brunch at Cafe Orlean. I love weekend brunch, it's one of the best meals of the week. Lazy and slow and delicious, especially in the Spring when the weather is starting to get warm, the outside seating tables start popping up and brunch becomes a fashion show!
And with that oh so nostalgically said, here is what I ate yesterday:
Eggs, toast and roasted potatoes, with a decaf cappuccino
Orange
Chocolate
Cereal
Salad
More cereal
And a few tacos at Mercandito for a midnight snack!
Not a bad food day, a little boring in the middle, but the first and last meals of the day could not have been better. The only question that remains is, what should I eat now, and when will I get some pickled tomatoes?!

post two, day, still uncertain
This one's a little late, but I never made any promises... And to my excuse, the internet wasn't working last night, and I was just too tired to fix it. Oh well. But anyway, here it goes, here is what I ate yesterday:
Cereal
Green apple - I don't know what it is with green apples lately, I never liked them before, but now I can't seem to get enough... interesting
Kim bap - or, Korean sushi, this one with beef. A great alternative for sushi addicts - same rice and seaweed goodness, no mercury. And it's stuffed with veggies. A winner in my book.
Yogurt - I can live on Fage yogurt now, especially the one with cherries. Milky, creamy, sweet goodness!!
And Turkish food for dinner - a little hummus, a little babaganush, lamb Adana kebab... so good! And followed with baklava of course. The only part that bummed me out was that I couldn't have Turkish coffee or tea with my desert, that's usually my favorite part of a Turkish dinner... but it was still a good meal non-the-less.
All in all, not a very overwhelming food day, and only a little bit more then I would have eaten on a regular basis, but still delicious!

post one, day uncertain
Hello. So, here is my story. I am pregnant. For the first time ever. And along with the typical tired and nauseous symptoms of pregnancy, I have also been hungry. Very very absurdly, unbelievably, I-cannot-believe-I-am-actually-eating-this-much-food-in-a-day hungry. And it really has been a lot of food. A lot. And I have to say that in the past few weeks I have been amazed at what I am eating, why, and how much of it. So today I decided to write it all down. Every day, or almost every day, or let's be honest here, more likely once a week, I am going to write down what I ate. For no other reason then because I think it's funny. And because it will probably be even funnier later! So with that said, here it goes:
Today I ate....
A bowl of cereal
2 bananas
A chicken parm panini (which promptly made me nauseous)
An apple
3 potato pierogie from the Russian store (yes, self loathing russian here)
A tomato
Not to bad I think. Healthy, minus the panini of course, but I needed carbs and protein, so it's allowed.
What I really wanted today, what I have really been wanting lately but not getting are pickled red tomatoes... yu-um!!!
What I am going to eat now...hmm... i think it's time for some ice cream!!!!!!!!!!
Oooo, can't wait to see what I consume tomorrow...
